1. What is Photo Center?

Photo Center or www.photo.muncha.com is one of the premium services of muncha.com that deals with making full use of your digital photographs. It provides simple and reliable site that enables you to efficiently upload, organize, share and print your digital images online. Printed photos can be mounted in frames or printed in mugs and can be delivered anywhere in Nepal.

2. What can I do with photo.muncha.com?

Create photo albums and upload images. View and edit albums. Share your albums with your friends and families. Select images and have them printed and delivered all over Nepal. Get your images printed on ceramic mugs. Get your images framed. Frames come in different sizes and varieties.

3. How do I use Photo Center?

In order to use Photo Center, you first need to register. To register, you need to click on the New User link in the right column. If you are a registered user, you can simply enter your email or user id and password. Please note that there is no need for separate registration for muncha.com users. Your current login details for muncha.com are valid in Photo Center.

Creating Photo Albums

1. How do I create Photo Albums?

  1. Simply click Create New Album, at left menu of the photo homepage. Alternately, you can also click on the Create New Album button in the main area.
  2. Give an album title and description of your choice and press Continue to go to the next page.
  3. Now, you will be in a page where you can upload images.
Uploading Images

How do I upload images?

  1. Uploading images means sending your images from your personal computer to our site. This will enable you to view and share images with anyone you want.
  2. After you have followed the procedures to Create New Album, you will be taken to a page where you can upload your digital images.
  3. Here, select number of photos to be uploaded from the drop down menu. There are two options 5 or 10. You can upload five or ten images at a time. If you need to upload more images, you can again repeat the procedures with different images. Please note that our site only accepts JPEG (.jpg or .jpeg) file format.
  4. If you have already created an album and need to add images to it, simply click upload images at the left menu of the page.
  5. Then, select an album from the drop down menu.
  6. To select images from your computer, click Browse and then locate your image.
  7. Start the upload process by clicking the Upload button.
Viewing & Editing Albums

1. How do I view and edit albums?

  1. If you have already created an album, simply click View & Edit Albums at the menu on the left column of the page.
  2. All your albums will now show up in the middle of the page at the top. Albums others have shared with you will come up at the lower area. You can click directly on the album name or image to see the images in that album.
  3. You can also click the plus signed icon at the left menu, which will expand to show all the albums you have. After this, you can click on the album you want.
  4. You can follow the links below the album images to do the following;
    1. View: You can have a view of all images in that album you have selected.
    2. Share: Click on this link to share this album with any of your friends and family. All albums are private and other people can have access to view your albums only if you share your albums with them through this link.
    3. Slideshow: A slideshow is a display of a series of images from the selected album. When you are watching the images in slideshow, you can do the following:
      1. Start and stop changing of images by clicking the start and stop buttons.
      2. View images manually by clicking the buttons like prev, next, first and last.
      3. Speed: You can adjust the speed. Three settings are provided.
      4. Image size: You can also choose your preferred image size from the two selections given.
    4. Buy: You can select images to purchase by clicking on Add to cart link adjacent to the image. You can select other attributes such as print size and frames later on.
    5. Add: This can be used to add more images to your album.
    6. Edit: Edit an albums detail. You can change the title and comments of the existing album.
    7. Delete: This will delete the entire album. To remove specific images, you need to click the album and click the individual images.
    8. Comment: Write what you think about viewed pictures as a comment. Here any one who have shared the album can view and add comments. They are listed date wise.
Sharing and Viewing Photo Albums

1. How do I share photos?

  1. If you have already created an album, then simply click the Share Photos link at the left menu of the page.
  2. In this page, select the album you want to share.
  3. In the page that follows, type e-mail addresses of your friends/family members you want to share the album with separated by a comma. You can also add a comment to be included in the email.
  4. When you press, Continue, you will get the confirmation stating, Email has been successfully sent. It means the people you have shared the album with will receive an email with a link, which will allow them to view your shared album.

2. How do I view the shared photos?

When you receive the email regarding the shared album, you have to follow the link provided. After this, you will be prompted to put in your user id or email and password you have at Muncha.com. If you are not registered yet, you will need to do so to be able to view the album.

Buying Photos

1. How do I buy photos?

  1. Click Buy Photos link on the left column of the page.
  2. Select album you want to buy images from. Here, you can also select an album that someone has shared with you.
  3. Click "Select" under each photo you want photo center to print, or click "Select all the photos in this album" to select all photos.
  4. You can also buy prints of photos:
    From a slideshow.
    To buy a print of a photo you are viewing in Slideshow:
    a. Click "Add to Cart" when the image you want to purchase comes up while slideshow is running.
  5. At the right menu of the page in account, details section click View My Cart or Check out.
  6. Now you will be in step 1 of the ordering process.
  7. Ordering process - step 1: -
    1. First check price details and choose appropriate size and enter quantity for each photo.
    2. Click Remove just below each image to remove unnecessary photo from the cart.
    3. To remove all the items from the cart click Clear Cart.
    4. If you make any changes in quantity click Recalculate to update final total.
    5. When you are ready click Check out and you will be in Shopping cart step 2.
    6. Shopping cart step 2 is in the making. It will soon be ready for use.

2. How many pixels do I need to make a print?

This depends on the size of the print. Fewer pixels are needed to make small prints than larger ones. To get high-quality prints in variety of sizes, we recommend your photos have at least the following minimum resolutions:

3. Does the Photo Center indicate the resolution of my photos?

Yes, the resolution and recommended print size is listed in shopping carts step 1 as well as during the slide show and when viewing detailed image. If the photo is not recommended for printing then message *** Not recommended for printing appears in red font.

Framing Photos

1. How do I frame my photo?

  1. Click Frames link on the left column of the page.
  2. Click category you want to browse.
  3. Since there is only one category that is wooden, you will be in a page where you can select wooden frames.
  4. Click the frame you want to see.
  5. Now you will be in a page where you have to select photos, which you want to frame.
    1. There is drop down menu which displays list of your albums.
    2. Select an album you want from the drop-down menu.
  6. Select a photo. You will see a page where you can find the selected frame and the selected photo.
    1. If you want to change the image to be framed, click on Switch Photo. You will see a page where you can choose photos from one of your albums.
  7. At the right column of the page under Photo gift details, there is frame information.
    1. There is title, description and color of the frame you selected.
    2. Now at the right column select the size of the frame you want from the drop down menu.
  8. Enter the number of frames with the image of your choice in the "Quantity" field.
  9. When you are ready, click "Add to Cart".
  10. Now you will be in shopping cart step 1.

2. Framing a print while viewing images in your album

  1. Click "View & Edit albums".
  2. Click the album you want to open.
  3. Click the photo you want to frame.
  4. You will see a page where you can select frames. Here, click on "Select a frame".
  5. After this, you will be taken to a page where you can select a specific frame that you like.
  6. Once you select a frame, you will see a page where you can find the selected frame and selected photo.
  7. If you want to change the photo that you want framed, click "Switch Photo". You will see a page where you can choose photos from one of your albums.
  8. At the right column of the page under Photo gift details, there is frame information.
    1. There is title, description and color of the frame you selected.
    2. Now at the right column select the size of the frame you want from the drop down menu.
  9. Enter the number of frames you want in the "Quantity" field.
  10. When you are ready, click "Add to Cart".
  11. Now you will be in Shopping cart step 1. Here, you will be able to review items in your cart before checking out.
Printing a Photo on a Mug

1. How do I print an image in a mug?

  1. Click Mugs link on the left column of the page.
  2. Click category you want to browse.
  3. Since there is only one category, which is ceramic, you will be in a page where you can select ceramic mugs.
  4. Click a mug you want to see.
  5. Now you will be in a page where you have to select photos, which you want to print on the mug.
    1. There is a drop down menu, which displays a list of your albums.
    2. Select an album you want from the drop-down menu.
  6. Select a photo. You will see a page where you can find the selected mug and the selected photo.
    1. If you want to change the image to be printed, click on Switch Photo. You will see a page where you can choose photos from one of your albums.
  7. At the right column of the page under Photo gift details, information on the mug you have chosen will be displayed.
    1. There is title, description and color of the mug you selected.
  8. Enter the number of mugs you want in the "Quantity" field.
  9. When you are ready, click "Add to Cart".
  10. Now you will be in shopping cart step 1.

2. Printing a photo on a mug while viewing images in your album.

  1. Click "View & Edit albums".

Printed and Delivered All Over Nepal

Is photo print deliverable all over Nepal?

Printed photos can be mounted in frames or printed in mugs and can be delivered all over Nepal.

Check Out Procedures

The check out procedure consists of four different steps, which you will be guided through along with special instructions on the page. To mark your position in the 'check out procedure', you can see the steps displayed on the top, which will be ticked after you complete the step.

1. Shopping cart - Step 1:
  1. As you shop on, your orders are collected in your shopping cart. You can review the orders in your shopping cart at any time by clicking View My Cart at the right column of any page.
  2. First check price details and choose appropriate size and enter quantity for each photo.
  3. Click "Frame It" to order a framed print.
  4. Click "Create a mug" to print a photo on a mug.
  5. Click Remove just below each image to remove unnecessary photo from the cart.
  6. To remove all the items from the cart click Clear Cart.
  7. If you make any changes in quantity click Recalculate to update final total.
  8. When you are ready click Continue to step 2 and you will be in Shopping cart step 2.
1. Shopping cart - Step 2:
  1. There is a table with five columns, which are as follows,
    1. S#: In this column, serial numbers are displayed.
    2. Title: In this column, your item descriptions are displayed.
    3. Gift Option: In this column, there is a button Select gift option. If you intend to send the items as gifts click it and you will be in page where you can do following things
      1. Gift wrap: There are two check boxes which are as follows,
        1. Free Gift Wrap: Use this option for simple gift-wrapping, which is free of cost.
        2. Premium Gift Wrap (Rs.100): Use this option for premium gift-wrapping .This is a special type of gift-wrapping for which you have to pay Rs.100 extra.
      2. Message to go with gift: There is a text area where you can write your message up to 30 characters. This message will go with gift.
      3. Click Continue to return to Shopping cart - Step 2.
    4. Delivery Picture: In this column, there is a check box. Use this option to order delivery picture for which you have to pay extra Rs.150.
    5. Delivery Video: In this column, there is a check box. Use this option to order delivery video for which you have to pay extra Rs.300.
  2. Select your recipient
    1. You have to select the recipients' names. The names of the recipients' already in your address book are displayed in the drop-down list.
    2. If your delivery area is outside Kathmandu, you will be automatically redirected to Shopping cart - Step 2.5 page. In this page, you can choose courier option or shipping option from the drop down list and click Continue to return to Shopping cart - Step 2
    3. You can also edit your address book. If you have a new recipient other than those who are enlisted in your address book, you can click on 'new recipient' to add new recipients to your address book.
  3. Select delivery date
    1. You should also specify the date you want your items/gifts to be delivered.
      1. You can select either "As soon as possible" or "On" a certain date.
      2. You will have to specify a date when you select "On.
  4. When you are ready click Continue to step 3 and you will be in Shopping cart step 3.

Note: Please note that although most of the items can be delivered on that same day so as long as we receive the order before 10:00 a.m. Nepal Standard Time, we require notice of at least two days to be on the safe side. This is also because some items such as flowers and cakes have to be given an order and will take at least one day to make. For jewelry items, we require an advance notice of seven days.

Shopping cart - Step 3:
  1. In this step, you can revise/edit before proceeding to the payment step.
  2. In Options column, you can click edit to change gift-wrapping.
  3. In Options column, you can click edit delivery picture and delivery video.
  4. In Delivery Method column, you can click edit under courier and shipping to change delivery area outside Katmandu.
  5. After finalizing, click on 'Continue to Step 4' to go to the last step of Check-Out Procedure.
Payment Option - Step 4:

This step consists of two sections viz., Local orders and International Orders. Select your type of payment under respective order type and proceed. If you have, any doubt concerning your payment amount you can switch back to step four by clicking "Re-confirm" button, which appears on the top left side of the screen.
